Increasing efforts to get Guinea-Bissau out of the political and institutional impasse.
This Saturday, Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf arrived in Guinea Bissau to continue the peace negotiations.
The delegation implored all parties to live up to the terms of the deal, including the appointing of a prime minister, to name a new inclusive government and parliamentary approval of its program.

On October 15, in Conakry, under the auspices of the Guinean president Alpha Condé, as a mediator in this crisis, the opposing parties had listed three names for the post of Prime Minister.
A national dialogue was also called for ,with the aim of agreeing on a political pact as well as constitutional and institutional reforms ahead of the next elections scheduled for 2018.
